And this, dear children, is why we pay attention in those pesky little history lessons - so that the murderous and genocidal agenda spewed by fanatic wolves in suited sheep's clothing, like this Khaled Mashal Schmuck here, is recognized for what it is, and isn't blindly bought into. The not so dear Mr. Mashal, can you please make up your mind? Which is it, 1967? 1948? 1882? Because we can go all the way back to 1200BC if needed, and still you wouldn't be able to prove your point. The bottom line is simple - you could have accepted any one of the countless offers put on the table in the past 100 years and we could have had a sustainable peace in this region (and YOUR own people would have been far better off). But you carved out genocide as your path, and so here we are (and make no mistake - vowing to eliminate the Jewish state is, by definition, genocidal). But... by all means - keep at it. See where it gets you. In the meantime, your people are suffering the most for your own murderous agenda.
