General Manager at Amazon

Wow2024 has been a year of significant change at our site, as anticipated. We've seen leaders depart, arrive, and advance in their careers. While we bid farewell to exceptional leaders like Brian Thomas (promoted Site Leader at DEN3), Jessica Sainz (AGM at Sephora), An Tran (Ship Monk), David Sobel (promoted Site Safety Manager at LAS7), William Jaja, MBA (promoted HRM at LIT1), and Mandi Vela (promoted HRM at VGT1), their moves have paved the way for emerging talent within our succession and development plan. I'm proud to announce the promotion of four new Sr. Operations Managers that came from LAS7: Richard Filippo, Michael Warden, Jessica Mejia-Zuazo, and Matthew Elson. This brings us to a 4/4 success rate for L7 PODs this year. Although relatively new in their roles, my team demonstrates hunger, determination, and well-developed skills. The transition has been seamless, with leaders stepping up to fill crucial roles. Robert (John) Sasson in particular, has been instrumental as my right-hand leader in guiding our site to success. This Prime is a first for most of our leadership team in their current roles: • 4 out of 5 Sr. Operation Managers • 7 out of 17 Operations Managers • 14 out of 66 Area Managers Despite this, we've achieved remarkable results. Yesterday, we became the 4th highest shipper in AR West, processing 805.3K units – our most efficient day during a "High Volume Event" at LAS7 with an OB TPH of 56 which is a 10% improvement from prior HVE’s. Our commitment to developing and growing leaders at all levels is unwavering. I'm immensely proud of the strong culture we're building, which drives success across every pillar of our operation. As the General Manager of LAS7, leading a large team of hourly and exempt employees, I'm excited about our future. Day 1 of our HVE showed promising results from our young team, and I look forward to building on this success for the remainder of this year and in the years to come. LAS7 Lions “A Lion’s True Strength, Comes From Its Pride.”

Leilani Estavan, appreciate the recognition for myself and our team! A goal without a plan is a wish—we are EXECUTING our plan with demonstrative results coming into fruition! We are both very unique leaders with very different styles; however, our strengths and opportunities complement each other to perfection with it blatantly obvious in our site’s cultural and operational rejuvenation—differences matter and if everyone were the same, we would never have true innovation and growth! Our site exemplifies how much relationships and engagement matter by driving a positive but yet competitive culture showcasing dramatic improvement within every Amazon pillar—Safety, People, Quality, NTP, DEA, and Cost! I very much look forward to our journey ahead with our newly assembled team driving LAS7 to never before realized heights of achievement.
