💘 Finding hiring managers their next long-term relationship | 🚚 Logistics Recruitment Liason | 🦀 Old Bay in my bloodstream and Dolly Parton in my heart 💖 | 🤝 Let’s find you the best talent together!

The results from last week's poll are in, and it shows that remote workers overwhelmingly love stretchy pants 😂 While we're here... A few thoughts on remote work 🏡 : As we know, many companies have issued back-to-work orders since the world opened back up after the pandemic. Of 1,000 businesses that went remote during COVID-19, CNBC states that 90% plan to implement return-to-office policies by the end of 2024. 🤯 But there is a huge disconnect here: the reality is… People want to work from home! Forbes tells us that “98% of workers want to work remotely at least some of the time”. Here are just a few benefits of allowing your employees a fully remote schedule: 📈 Studies show that working from home improves performance. According to Forbes, "Workers with full schedule flexibility report 29% higher productivity and 53% greater ability to focus than workers with no ability to shift their schedule". 🤑 Eliminating the cost of rent = more moolah! 💰 Speaking of costs, think of all the money you could be saving on office supplies, utility bills, team lunches/coffee stations - the list goes on. 🏊♂️ No physical location requirements = access to a bigger and better talent pool! If you're stuck in a hiring rut, remote work WILL attract a new and talented demographic. 🚋 Commuting sucks. And often the stress of it is brought into the office. No commute = happier employees! (This also saves millions of gallons of gas every year, so I guess you could call yourself an environmentalist 😉🌲) You would think that employee engagement/satisfaction would be down if colleagues can't be in-person together, right? I think it's the opposite. Remote work allows people the freedom and flexibility to live out that sought-after work-life balance. Speaking from experience, colleagues who work online choose to spend time together because they want that connection outside of the virtual world. So my message to all the "100% onsite" companies out there is this: reflect on the work your employees do, and ask yourself why they HAVE to be in the office to do it? If there's no solid answer there, I encourage you to try out a remote work environment, sit back, and reap the benefits. 💻 😎 #workfromhome #remotework

I think it has its place, but there are certain roles that should not have the option.

Great perspective here. At the end of the day, it's all about offering some level of flexibility. That is where the trust happens.
