Consultation: Consumption of alcohol in licensed pavement areas/off sales During the pandemic the government passed regulations allowing hospitality businesses to sell alcohol for takeaway, delivery and to drink in licensed pavement areas without making changes to their Premises Licence. These regulations are due to expire on 31 March 2025. For the next 8 weeks the government is running a consultation to propose making the temporary regulatory easements for off sales permanent or making amendments to the Licensing Act to extend the definition of off sales. #licensing #hospitality #rotherabray Jo Soar Caroline Twist
