Hi all, let me present to you today how AI by Neuron Soundware can prevent tricky asset outages. Transformers are vital for energy grid reliability. But, they can't be vibro-diagnosed due to their non-rotation behavior (unlike all traditionally vibration-diagnosed assets). The E-ON Innovation team approached us to address a critical challenge in grid resilience encompassing power transmission, renewable integration, and loss reduction. Our AI algorithms, adept at handling acoustic emissions from non-rotating assets like transformers, played a key role in this solution. It was a privilege to present this at Malmö, Sweden, and win the Grid Startup Challenge. Today I want to share the story of one of the startups from the current Beamline Accelerator Deeptech Batch — Heliosync. Founders Bernhard and Martin are developing solar technologies that could change the future of renewable energy! Why is this important? Currently, only 6.7% of energy production from renewable sources comes from solar energy. However, by 2030, half of all energy produced from renewable sources is expected to come from solar energy. I will leave a link to the Executive Summary on Renewables from IEA in the first comment. Heliosync aims to increase this figure by making solar energy production more efficient.
