Simplifying global logistics and supply chain processes

As August wraps up, demand is stabilizing with a mix of blank sailings and extra loaders. September brings full capacity via THEA/2M carriers, which could create vessel-filling challenges if demand holds steady. 🚢 Floating rates are starting to ease, but carriers are staying sharp, adjusting rates to optimize capacity. ⚙️ For long-term accounts, space and equipment restrictions remain a priority. While the equipment shortage is improving, some ports still expect shortages of specific container types like 20'GPs and 45'HCs. The logistics landscape is shifting—let’s stay ahead of the curve! 🌍📦

All I read here is that we need to invest more into infrastructure as logistics is highly cyclical an we cannot handle the peaks.

Thanks for sharing the latest update on the shipping market. It's great to see that demand is stabilizing, but the challenges related to capacity and equipment availability are still a concern. It's important for businesses to stay informed about these trends and be prepared to adapt their logistics strategies accordingly. Do you have any recommendations for how companies can mitigate the risks associated with space and equipment shortages?
