As a member of the Board of the Workforce Center I was honored to attend the Broomfield City Council meeting where a proclamation was made declaring September as Workforce Development Month!
WHEREAS, the world of work continues to evolve rapidly, Broomfield’s current and future workforce remains critical to Broomfield’s economy and prosperity. How and where we work is forever changed, due to advancements in technology, automation, artificial intelligence, globalization, and sustainable energy; and
WHEREAS, we must ensure that all Broomfielders have access to opportunities for high quality, life-long education, that is connected to in-demand and growing career paths, it is critical to promote skills and education attainment, allowing all to remain competitive in today’s job market, while supporting employer’s needs to remain relevant as industry evolves; and
WHEREAS, Broomfield’s employers need support to recruit and retain talented employees to ensure businesses are able to fully operate and optimize operations; they too benefit by partnering with their local Workforce Center, who can help them grow their talent pipeline, and expand apprenticeship programs, enhancing Broomfield’s economic vitality through job creation; and
WHEREAS, the dedicated workforce development professionals of the City and County of Broomfield’s Workforce Center, in partnership with many organizations throughout the Broomfield community, work tirelessly to deliver no-cost workforce solutions to support individuals on their path to employment and help businesses find the talent they need.
Wonderful to see Liberty Mutual prioritizing employee well-being, especially during the summer months! 🌞
