During WindMover Days in Luxembourg, we took delivery of the first Lift Tower Adapter trailer in Poland and the fourth in Europe, a novelty from FAYMONVILLE Trailers to the MAX, one of our specialized trailer suppliers 💪 This is the latest adapter in the industry, which is designed to transport wind tower components weighing up to 100 tons and with an inside diameter of 2,550 to 5,400 millimeters. More technical details about the trailer itself can be found in an earlier post. Speaking of last week's events - on Saturday in Luxembourg, our employees took part in a special training dedicated to the latest adapter to join our fleet💡 - The training focused on the operation of the new trailer for transporting sections of wind towers in the new hydraulic-pneumatic suspension configuration - says Margaret Grzyb, Senior Project Manager. - Among other things, the training presented several technical innovations offered by Faymonville's latest trailer model, the FlexMAX 4+7 with wind tower transport adapter. These include the suspension of 3 hydraulic axles, trailer leveling and wireless operation with a remote control. The training attended by our drivers included preparing the trailer for loading by properly adjusting the mounts to the diameter of the flange, or adjusting the hydraulic suspension. The Office of Rail and Road has published Goal-setting principles for Railway Health and Safety Additional Factors to be Considered for Unattended Passenger Train Operation This is a new Appendix to the existing guidance document Goal-setting Principles for Railway Health and Safety, which sets out ORR’s expectations of those designing railway systems, vehicles and equipment in order to comply with railway health and safety legislation. The new Appendix covers matters to be considered for fully unattended train operation (UTO) otherwise called Grade of Automation 4 (GOA4). The underlying principle is that a UTO system must achieve a level of safety at least as good as that achieved by a system with human drivers and signallers/controllers. We currently have only a small number of UTO systems operating as transit systems at airports and a small number of systems, such as the Glasgow Metro, with the capability to potentially operate in UTO mode in future. This guidance is intended to support a consistent approach to design considerations by anyone considering the introduction of a new UTO system or upgrade of an existing system to full or partial UTO operation. https://lnkd.in/e9gU_vrz

I made I post over 3 weeks ago about reaching the 3 month point in my new job. It turns out that it was quite premature. Today is actually my 3 month point. So let me redo the premature post and numbers……… 🏢 - 5 - Bus operators / companies have had training provided for them. 📝 - 6 - Bespoke courses have been designed, developed & delivered. 📍 - 9 - Locations where onsite training has been delivered by myself. 👨🏻🔧 - 78 - Technicians have successfully received & completed the training. 🚎 - 27 - Depots have provided technicians to attend the training.
