Far-red and near-IR live-cell microscopy seems like a chicken and egg situation; dye makers want more commercial NIR microscopes and microscope manufacturers want more useful dyes and assays. Turns out if you replace the oxygen in rhodamine with a silicon you get far red rhodamines. The silicon atom provides a functionalization site and they are photostable. Certain analogs undergo "spirocyclization equilibrium between the open and closed forms" delivering a blinking behavior for super resolution techniques. Due to the dynamic stiffness characteristics of human joints, it is easy to cause impact and disturbance on normal movements during exoskeleton assistance. The #Variable_Stiffness_Actuator (VSA), as a physical variable stiffness mechanism, has the characteristics of dynamic stiffness adjustment and high stiffness control bandwidth, which is in line with the stiffness matching experiment.
