It has been an pleasure and honor contributing to the EEX Expert Talk last week. Yes, regulation is key for the emergence of a functioning hydrogen economy. The implementation of the delegated acts in Europe earlier this year has been an important and long awaited step forward. Since this step is just the first step of a longer journey, there is still the opportunity to partly maneuver. The hydrogen market will be a global market and Europe needs to define how and where in this market it wants to position itself.
