Before I start creating an article I have little to no idea on, I scribble down a piece of conversation with myself. it is one of the easiest ways to engage your mind and prepare what you're writing for. I'll start by scribbling my ideas, what I know about the particular topic, and sometimes, funny conversations that may or may not look like this; "I do not have a concrete idea on what to write on lol, but I believe I know and have had experiences on this topic, and here are my opinions........." There, I have written down some pieces of information I really needed to know. with additional research, I have gotten a proper structure on what to write for my article. This is a hack I use everyday on topics that needs a little bit of brain power, and it has helped me so far! what do you think of this method? will you try it out?

Here's a useful exercise I learned as a writer, which I think applies to anyone working in any field. I began doing this when I decided to place real people into my fiction, albeit in an imagined world, one where they end up doing something dramatically different from our reality. Find a notable figure you've always disagreed with on an important topic. Someone you couldn't really imagine going for a drink with. They could be a politician. An artist. A historical figure. A controversial business person. Then, research them a little - beyond the obvious profile piece fluff. Look at their childhood, schooling and formative experiences. Their early careers. Their relationships and tragedies and failures. I've found Googling things people have said, stuff which becomes quotable, is a good window into someone's mind. After the exercise, you're unlikely to have changed your mind *dramatically* about the issues on which you and your subject disagree. However, I guarantee (unless you've chosen an obvious villain) you'll look at that person differently. You'll find unlikely points of connection. You'll begin to understand why they think, or thought, the way they did. You might even sympathise with them a little. Or not. In doing so, you'll learn something, not least about yourself. You might also find yourself laughing along with your hitherto bugbear, finding them unexpectedly funny. I think if more people did this, instead of talking self-regarding, oxygen-wasting bollocks on social media, the world would be a much better place.

Most readers don't read. Instead, they: 1. Half-read the first line 2. If it's not interesting, they stop 3. If it is interesting, the read line two 4. Then they start skimming 5. They see a section they like 6. They read that closely 7. They skim again 8. Maybe they stop at one point 9. Maybe they go to the end Not everyone is a deep reader. In fact, most people aren't. Write posts that appeal to skimmers, deep readers, and everyone in between.

I’m equally inspired as I am terrified by AI. It has been the greatest partner I could have imagined. It has completely changed the way I work, optimizing my efficiency as a marketer and storyteller tenfold. The terrified part of me comes from wanting to cling to a deeply human world. Everyone is debating what AI has the capacity to replace—can we even fathom the changes we are facing as a species over the next five or ten years? If that scares you, you’re similar to me. But the spiritual work I do teaches me to surrender to the current of change, even if it’s not what I think I want. I’m an advocate of radical progression as well as a lover of tradition. I'm fascinated by innovation, yet I ultimately want a simple, natural life. My desires are deeply nuanced, and I’m constantly asking myself how I can make space for them all to coexist. Thanks to my beloved new collaborator, I find myself writing less and less for work. As a surprisingly beautiful result, I find myself writing more and more for myself. While feeling creatively robbed, I think it’s essential to preserve your untouched human expression as much as possible. So, I’ve started a Substack where I’m sharing my purely human writing—my little act of rebellion against feeling like I’m selling my soul by optimizing my work insurmountably.
