It’s the spookiest time of the year again! 💀 We wanted to share a few helpful tips to keep you and your family stay safe and worry-free this Halloween:
🎃 Carry flashlights or wear reflective costumes to ensure you’re easily seen by passing cars, and encourage children to look before walking on the road.
🎃 Help your children choose costumes that fit well and don’t obstruct vision or movement. A great costume can still be safe!
🎃 Be extra careful when crossing the street. Drinking and driving is, unfortunately, very common on Halloween. Take extra care while traveling or trick-or-treating.
🎃 Carefully inspect candy before indulging in late-night treats. In particular, look for signs of tampering, including discoloration/unusual appearance and tiny holes or tears in the wrapping.
🎃 If your furry friends join in on the Halloween fun, make sure all dogs are on a leash or securely indoors to avoid escape or accidents.
