got a notification from YouTube today (cool feature, btw, i love the product team that came up with it) that this video, which HackerNoon published 7 months ago, of an interview i did with Christopher Lustrino 9 months ago, somehow tops the chart for the "key moments for audience retention" of all the videos we published in the last 365 days. I clicked on the detailed analytics, and learned that 92% of audience who stumbled upon this video actually made it to the half way point and 45% of all viewers watched the entire duration of this video. And we also gained 53 subscribers from this video! So my questions for you who create regular content on youtube (we at HackerNoon are in the business of publishing words, not publishing videos, but obviously we wanna be better at it) - what about this one that you think speaks to you? If at all? Do you have any hypothesis on why or how we should do better over all as a channel? https://lnkd.in/gN2bJFCQ

An easygoing vibe with a grounded perspective and positive message is a welcome change. Most of the content I come across comes off as sarcastic, pessimistic, try-hard or just plain phony.
