As an event planner in LA, staying on top of cocktail trends is crucial. According to a recent article, the 5 most popular cocktails in the city are: The Margarita - LA's love for tequila makes this the undisputed champion. The Old Fashioned - A sophisticated classic with various twists popular at events. The Martini - The epitome of elegance, loved for its simplicity. The Moscow Mule - Refreshing vodka, ginger beer and lime combo gaining popularity. The Gin & Tonic - A crisp, versatile staple across LA's bar scene. The article also highlights the typical drinking preferences in LA - 50% tequila, 30% vodka, and 20% whiskey and gin drinkers. Offering a well-curated cocktail menu catering to these tastes is key for successful LA events. As an event professional, staying informed about local beverage trends allows me to elevate our clients' experiences. https://lnkd.in/gUvUmizh

Mobile Bar Owner | Beverage Consultant | Event Bartender Beverage Curator | Creative Director | Brand Activation
Client: “Is the alcohol included?”🍹 Me: “No. Alcohol is not included.”🚫 Client: “Why don’t you include the alcohol with your services?” I get it! I’m an event bartender and when you think of “bartender”, you think of alcohol. Of course! Makes perfect sense! But, that’s not how this works in the event space. 1. It is ILLEGAL for event bartenders and Mobile Bar companies to transport alcohol to and from event WITHOUT a liquor license. Which is pretty hard to get without a brick and motor with a commercial kitchen. 2. It is YOUR responsibility to purchase and transport alcohol to and from your event. Don’t worry! I won’t throw you to the wolves. I’ll make sure you are fully equipped with what you need to do this properly! 3. Although event bartenders and Mobile Bars serve alcohol, we are NOT liquor stores. We are a LUXURY service that create CUSTOM beverage experiences.✨ Hopefully, this answered your questions concerning this topic. If you have more questions on this subject matter, drop them below ⬇️ Cheers!🥂 • • • #TheOptimalExperience #MobileBar #Bartender #MobileBartendingService #EventBartender #EventMarketing #ATLEvent #BeverageIndustry #Cocktails #bespokeevents #networkingevents #networking #events #portablebar #businessevents #mocktails #mimosa

Back in 2006 Bacardi's #GreyGoose wanted to make a statement as an official sponsor of the US Open They tapped restaurateur and hospitality guru Nick Mautone to create a cocktail with three requirements: it had to be memorable, interesting, and it had to be easy enough to serve at high capacity events. Enter the Honey Deuce, a cocktail that is fun, delicious, and now 17 yrs. running, is synonymous with the US Open. Patience and consistency in marketing is critical, and in the case of Grey Goose and the Honey Deuce, it paid off. They did 3 things well to build brand equity: ✅ They resisted the urge to create a new U.S. Open cocktail every year. ✅ They didn’t attach their name (I’m guessing because Grey Goose Honey Deuce is quite the tongue-twister even before cocktails). ✅ They sought an outside point of view and gave them a tight brief. So before you take a look at your quarterly data and go back to the drawing board, challenge yourself to look at the equity you already have. Where can patience benefit you? #honeydeuce #planoncepivot4ever #usopentennis

Why at CGA do we think draught cocktails are the right solution for both suppliers and operators in Australia? 🍹 Younger consumers are exploring cocktails with higher consumption that other cohorts - CGA’s research “shows that over half of 18-34-year-old consumers drink cocktails on-premise, with 55% of them drinking on every or almost every visit.” 🏃♂️They provide benefits to operators through automation, speed and quality of serve in a time when recruiting, retaining and training staff is so challenging - 6 cocktails in 60 seconds 🎉 But it is not a one size fits all approach. Understanding the channel, consumer and occasions can allow for a more targeted strategy for where this solution will be most successful Great to see that CGA by NIQ’s research can support this roll out from Diageo here in Australia and looking forward to a Friday Espresso Martini. #Onpremise #CGAbyNIQ Tom Graham Samiksha Chopade

After years of attending fancy weddings, I always found myself standing in line at a lackluster bar with limited options like Amstel Light, Vodka Soda, and Jack & Coke. 🥃 It seemed like such an overlooked aspect of the event industry. 🤷♂️ I mean, if you're spending thousands on a celebration, wouldn't you want a stellar bar experience? That's when it hit me - why not up the bar game and bring some craft cocktail magic to events? So I started Craft Cartel, a cocktail catering company focused on creating memorable drinking experiences. With expert bartenders, high-quality ingredients, and unique cocktail concepts, we aim to turn the bar into a highlight of any party. Because let's be real, everyone loves a good cocktail and everyone visits the bar at some point. Why not make it an unforgettable experience? 🌟 Have you had a similar frustration with event bars? Let me know in the comments! 📝 And if you're planning an event, hit that save button for a bar upgrade like no other. 💥 #CocktailCatering #CraftCocktails #EventPlanning
