Are collaborations worth the effort or overrated? In my experience, collaborations are key when working with like-minded brands or individuals who share the same drive and goals as your brand. However, they must be strategically planned with sufficient time. A successful collaboration involves a great product launch, design, and marketing strategy. In this case, we collaborated with B-Real, one of the owners of Dr. Greenthumb, a Cannabis brand based in Los Angeles, California. B-Real, also a rapper known for songs about cannabis, influenced a range of products, including a pre-rolled joint crafted by my staff and the Dr. Greenthumb team. We created merchandise featuring both logos and a flight kit box 📦 with accessories from both companies. The product was launched a day before 420, debuting at one of B-Real's concerts. I've experienced collaborations that weren't as successful due to insufficient timing and involvement from the partner.
