In our industry, comparing W-2 jobs to agents1099 positions, is like comparing apples to oranges. One is good for a lot of folks, the other is good for a lot of other folks. Recruiters and others who are VERY actively slamming W-2 incentive and bonus plans, without reminding their prospects they walk away from ALL guaranteed pay and salary, aren't serving anyone but themselves. The higher the risk, the higher the reward. Nothing has changed here, except the pitch. Be mindful and be careful freight friends! #freight #sales #3pl

Just found out I'm going to MC (is that even the right term) my first funeral........ and it's tomorrow. And I haven't started writing/planning , because it was sprung on me. Any advice friends?

Have you ever read a biography or memior and thought less of or had less empathy for a person after reading? Me neither..... Something about knowing the ugly details of someone's life brings an understanding that nothing else can create. I mix reading with audio books. I usually read business, a little fiction and self help, and listen to my biographies. Currently listening to Matthew McConaughey, Greenlights. Take a minute to learn about someone random, you won't regret it!
