Have you ever read a biography or memior and thought less of or had less empathy for a person after reading? Me neither..... Something about knowing the ugly details of someone's life brings an understanding that nothing else can create. I mix reading with audio books. I usually read business, a little fiction and self help, and listen to my biographies. Currently listening to Matthew McConaughey, Greenlights. Take a minute to learn about someone random, you won't regret it!
Liz I loved this audiobook. And of course, in his own words and voice that much better. Thanks for sharing
Listened to this on a long 9 hour drive last year. Melissa French Gates's Moment of Lift is another one I enjoyed via audio book. I've been told Will Smith's is also really good, but haven't listened to that yet.
I read this last year while traveling. Great read. Another surprisingly good one is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Be Useful”
It's so so good and I love him even more after reading!
I have to know…Did he narrate it himself? I could literally listen to him talk all day. LOL
My review of this book was that it's alright, alright, alright.
My bosses assistant sent me this book and it’s amazing!! Totally changed my perspective on how I approach life. He didn’t want it want it to be a self help book but wow it was.
I had a former CFO recommend this to me… it was an interesting & entertaining read to say the least!
