Our paper on plasma proteomics is out!   We worked hard the get the best proteomic analysis out of the worst biofluid: plasma.   We quantify around 1000 proteins from only 1ul on neat plasma.   The trick lies on sampling small and hydrophilic peptides: this is possible by lowering the ion mobility threshold and increasing LC separation.   Second trick, we introduce the EV boost! Do you know that when you purify extracellular vesicles up also bring down 89% of the soluble plasma proteins? We used DIA-NN to match neat plasma to Evs proteome and boost 20% further the IDs.   Big thanks to Vadim Demichev for creating DIA-NN and for collaborating with us in validating the EV-boost!   Thanks to Bruker and Pierre-Olivier Schmit and Manuel Chapelle for the always enrichining discussions on pushing our instruments.
