The concept of the talk is "design using AI to help us 'zoom out' and work better" Amelia really does zoom out really shows off the power of how LLMs can change the way we interact with platforms and search. This is our logic: IF AI does not provide insights. THEN We must put ourselves in position to generate insights. Insights come from collecting the dots, not generating them. I would strive to have as many data points as possible. From there, you generate theories and concepts. From there you prove their validity. Ultimately, convert insights to practice. If you can do that. You win! 🏆

My friend Leonardo Quattrucci has been thinking about the tech / public sector interface for a while, having worked in both. As we're all trying to make sense of an evolution that is as rapid as it is consequential, I highly recommend subscribing to Leo's Ministry of Experiments substack. https://lnkd.in/eWX8Gdnh As he points out in one of the first posts, "What gets disproportionately little attention is the adoption of AI in government. That is, how governments can – and probably should – be early adopters of technologies such as AI, in addition to being producers of policies and regulations of AI."

If we aren't talking about the importance of AI, and how it is changing the landscape of media and communication, I suggest it's time we get up to speed. The USC Annenberg 2024 Relevance Report sheds some views on what to expect from AI from some of the best thinkers worldwide. Have a read as Christa Kruger says, #lifechanging and also super inspiring when we think of the new world we are navigating. As always #growfearless and embrace change with curiosity.
