Thanks to Prince John and Mojisayo Awolesi's amazing work, we were able to achieve something truly innovative!. Whoops! Gotta admit, I might have gotten a little off track from the original theme thanks to the rush. But no worries, I'll definitely fix those things up next time. Trust me, the initial design was way cooler. ClothesTok - TikTok 2024 TechJam Hackathon! I, along with these 2 phenomenal engineers Hung Tuan Nguyen and Hoa La, decided to bring the shopping experience on TikTok to a different level using computer vision and generative AI. ClothesTok is a new feature that will enhance the TikTok Shop's recommendation algorithm for clothes by taking users' interactions as inputs and their visual features such as skin tones and hair colors for more accurate clothes suggestions. LLM APIs have revolutionized the use of AI in our daily lives. With LLMs, it's now easier than ever to integrate AI into day-to-day applications. In this demo, a DevRev snap-in is used to fetch Google app store reviews of the LinkedIn app, and the Mixtral-8x7B model was used to identify app reviews that were specifically requesting a new feature. The entire code for fetching Google Play store reviews, performing classification, and loading it in DevRev is just ~100 lines. Kudos to Harpinder Jot Singh for making it possible! I had the pleasure to participate in the incredibly interesting and engaging AliceHacks this weekend! This hackathon included so many different workshops and events that were not only fun but also very helpful and informative. My teammates and I came up with an app called Bloom. This app will use AI to break down your tasks into smaller more manageable tasks, but wait! There's a twist!! We wanted to make it different from other task breakdown apps, so we added fun, game-like features. The user will pick an avatar (a tree or an animal of their choice) and as they complete tasks their avatar will grow/develop. Once all of the tasks are completed, the avatar will be completely grown/developed (for example if you chose a tree, your tree will be fully grown) and then it will be added to an in-app gallery-like ecosystem so the user can go back and look at all of their achievements!!
