There’s a misconception about web designers that needs dunking:
That we’re more “analytical”, less creative.
This couldn’t be further from the truth.
But look, I get it, when you aren’t in the industry it’s easy to look at us and think we’re all about coding and following the stats… and we are…
There’s just so much more to it than that.
- Creatively designing web pages
- Creatively implementing your brand identity
- Creatively coding to create seamless navigation
- Creatively using statistics to improve web performance
And a hell of a lot more.
Being a web designer means having the perfect balance between an analytical and creative thinker.
The best of both worlds if you will.
And that’s why hiring a web designer can be so important!
HI , I'm JABS
My interest in the tech world as a web developer, diving headfirst into the intricacies of HTML, CSS, react, gshap,C## and JavaScript. Crafting interactive web experiences was my forte, and I reveled in the dance between code and creativity. But life had other plans for me—a serendipitous detour that led me to explore the realms of design.
Design Awakening:
As I delved deeper, I discovered the captivating world of UI/UX design. The marriage of aesthetics and functionality ignited my creative spark. I found myself sculpting digital experiences, molding pixels into seamless interfaces. The user's journey became my canvas, and empathy my guiding star. 🎨
3D Modeling and Sculpting:
But wait, there's more! My fascination extended beyond the flat screen. I ventured into the third dimension—**3D modeling and sculpting**. Imagine shaping virtual clay, breathing life into abstract forms. Whether it's a sleek spaceship or a whimsical creature, I relish the process of bringing ideas to life in three dimensions. 🚀🔥
Blending Worlds:
And then, the magic happened. I realized that bridging development and design wasn't just a bridge—it was a superhighway. As a hybrid creator, I could build robust systems while infusing them with elegance. Code snippets danced alongside color palettes, and Git commits harmonized with wireframes. 🌐🎨
Classic 3D Video Games:
But what's life without a dash of adventure? I embarked on a quest to create **classic 3D video games**. Picture nostalgic pixelated landscapes, hidden dungeons, and epic boss battles. My keyboard became my sword, and my IDE, my enchanted forge. 🎮⚔️
Why This Blend Matters:
You see, I've come to believe that being both a developer and a designer isn't a duality—it's a superpower. It's the ability to converse fluently with both the left and right brain hemispheres. It's the alchemy that turns ideas into polished products. And in a tech world where silos crumble, this blend is my secret sauce. 🌐🎨🚀
So, let's connect! Whether you're a fellow developer, a design aficionado, or someone who believes in the magic of multidisciplinary skills, reach out. Let's build bridges, break barriers, and create something extraordinary together. 🤝

Web Designers vs. Web Developers
There seems to be some confusion between these two roles based on some recent job postings.
Web designers craft the visual appeal and user experience of a website. They typically start with wireframes and progress to layouts, mockups, and final design images using programs like Figma, Sketch, InVision.
Web developers, on the other hand, use programming languages and content management systems to create functional websites based on the mockups and images provided by the designers.
While some talented individuals have the skills to do both, these roles are often filled by specialists. However, close collaboration between designers and developers is key to creating successful websites and other digital products.

Is it acceptable to modify the job title on your resume to accurately reflect the tasks you performed rather than the official title you were given upon hiring? I raise this question because I've encountered situations where there were significant disparities that actually work to my advantage. In some instances, I was initially hired with a job title and description that did not align with the actual responsibilities I undertook. However, the actual work closely matched my career trajectory. For example, I was initially hired as a Web Developer with responsibilities that hardly resembled typical web development tasks. This was primarily due to constraints on job titles within the organization, driven by bureaucratic reasons. In reality, my role was more aligned with motion design, with a minimal amount of front-end coding for prototyping website interfaces. Consequently, I updated my job title to "Motion Designer," as this accurately reflected the work I was doing, which was centered around motion design and a user-centric approach to UX.
If an employer were to conduct a background check, would they view this modification as dishonesty on my part and potentially disqualify me? It's essential to note that the employer initially misrepresented the job title and duties for legitimate reasons, such as a limited selection of job titles and a specific need for specialized help.
Intertwined with the website programming development, hiring a great designer is crucial for small businesses that want a great first impression along with functionality. First on the list for a seasoned web designer is to discover what the client likes and dislikes, what the message is to their audience, and where best to place that message visually on the page.
Think about your main business message, and how you would like to be seen by your customers. What are your values and your vision? These are things to bring to the table when it’s time to create a new brand, and the website that goes along with your brand.
Collaboratively, the Designer, and the skilled programming team will build a site that is beautiful, intuitive, and easy to maintain afterward. Clients should expect to be led through the process from design to launch and beyond.
