There are many reasons why spending time on your Productivity might not be your Number One Priority. But without sorting this out, it will be difficult to grow your business. If you are holding all the tendrils and finer points of your business in your head, it will be hard to outsource to others and let go of the repetitive and menial tasks. You'll be forever chasing your tail, trying to get those done. You'll be frustrated with your calendar, email inbox and you will never ever find that file on that messed up desktop! But this stuff doesn't come easily to everyone, and I wish I'd had someone to handhold me through it when I started my own business.
