Love Yourself, Love the Planet, Love All Beings! The planet is not something we have inherited from our parents, but something we have borrowed from our children. EASE Book. Chapter: #13 Infinite Ignorance - Limited Intelligence. Pg # 239. As a healer committed to holistic health, I'm reminded this Valentine's Day of the profound connection between self-love, ethical choices, and planetary well-being. Let's celebrate by choosing nutritious foods that not only nourish our bodies but also reflect our love for all beings. Opting for plant-based meals not only supports our health but also reduces our environmental footprint and promotes compassion for animals. By reducing food waste and supporting sustainable agriculture, we demonstrate love for our planet and its future generations. Let's remember that every ethical and mindful choice we make has a ripple effect on the world around us. This Valentine's Day, let's spread love by making choices that honor our interconnectedness with all living beings. Together, let's create a world filled with love, compassion, and sustainability. This Valentine's Day, let's get cheeky with love and its environmental aftermath. Yes, you heard it right! Finding 'The One' might just have a carbon footprint… 🌹Date Night Adventures: Think mini-golf or a pottery class, adding a cute 2-4kg CO2e to your love ledger. 🌹Strolls & Hikes: These eco-friendly dates could contribute an adorable 1kg CO2e. 🌹Bouquets of Love: Gifting roses on those special occasions adds a fragrant 25kg CO2e. 🌹Holiday Romance: Testing the waters with a getaway? That’s a hefty 3.4 tonnes CO2e! The list goes on and we did the math - the journey to find 'The One' might leave a hefty amount of CO2 emissions behind. Here’s the scoop 😉🔗 https://lnkd.in/exKugdRC P.S. Why not offset your love journey? As quirky as it sounds, offsetting these emissions offers a meaningful gesture. Let’s make this Valentine’s Day one big love fest for each other and our planet. 😁 #Switch2Zero #ValentinesDay #CarbonOffset #CarbonNeutral #Sustainability #GreenGifting

Spread the Love, Feed the Earth: Why Composting is the Most Romantic Act This Valentine's Day This year, celebrate love in a way that truly blossoms: embrace the magic of composting! Here's why it's the most romantic act you can do: ♻️It's a love letter to the planet: By turning kitchen leftovers and garden waste into nutrient-rich compost, you're nurturing the Earth, the foundation for all life and love. ♻️It's a gift that keeps on giving: Your compost nourishes gardens, creating vibrant flowers and delicious food. Imagine sharing a homegrown meal, knowing you helped it grow with love (and a little food waste)! ♻️It's a shared adventure: Composting is a journey you can embark on in groups. Learn, experiment and bond over the fascinating process of transforming waste into treasure. ♻️It's a symbol of commitment: Just like love, composting requires dedication and care. But seeing your efforts yield beautiful results is incredibly rewarding, reminding you of the power of long-term commitment. Ready to spread the love? * Start a compost bin and watch it grow! * Gift loved ones eco-friendly composting equipment. * Remember, every scrap counts! ♻️Let's show the planet some love this Valentine's Day by creating a future where love and sustainability bloom together. 🌸 #EcoLove #SustainableLiving #Compostinglove #ValentinesDay #MakeADifference

We need to fall in love with life again 💚 Many shares this thought: philosopher, writer, scientists, poets, humans from all over the globe… 💙 New technologies, algorithms, machines won’t help toward a sustainable AND desirable future if not based on the essential: human-nature connectedness, if we do not dare to reconnect our heart to the web of life. 💜 I am using “dare” because accepting to be an intrinsic part of the earth ecosystem, to embody it, is to let go, to stop wanting to control everything that is not us, to stop only taking and start giving back. 💛 It is like falling in love: it is exciting, scary and we never know for sure what’s going to happen. It is also to accept the other, acknowledge their difference, their place; it is to share, to give and receive. ❤️ In two days, some of us might celebrate St Valentine with a present to the person(s) they love. Why not showing our love to an other-than-human being: which gesture, action, thought could you imagine to show your love toward all forms of life on earth? 💕 Happy Valentine’s day! #natureconnection #naturebased #sustainability #valentinesday

This Thanksgiving, let's remember its dual nature. It's a day of gratitude, where families gather to appreciate life's blessings. However, we must also acknowledge the historical complexities tied to this day. Thanksgiving is a time for warmth, laughter, and appreciating the abundance in our lives. Families come together, sharing a meal and creating cherished memories. Yet, it's essential to recognize the darker aspects of Thanksgiving's history. Originating from a 1621 harvest feast, it later unfolded into a tragic narrative of colonization and mistreatment of Indigenous peoples. Today, let's embrace a more nuanced understanding. Expressing gratitude doesn't dismiss historical injustices. It involves acknowledging both joy and sorrow, celebration and mourning. As we give thanks, let's commit to learning about Indigenous histories, amplifying their voices, and supporting justice initiatives. Thanksgiving can be a day of reflection, learning, and a collective step toward a more equitable future.
