#Chinapolicy #telecommunications #networkservice #telecomindustry The China MIIT（Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) has just announced to carry out a pilot project for expanding the opening-up of value-added telecommunication services, following the 20th CPC National Congress and the deployment of the Central Economic Work Conference. Pilot projects will be carried out first in the following areas: 1. Beijing --- Comprehensive Demonstration Zone for the Expansion and Opening Up of the Service Industry 2. Shanghai --- the Lingang New Area of the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Leading Area for Socialist Modernization Construction, 3. Hainan --- the Hainan Free Trade Port 4. Shengzhen --- the Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. The people's governments of the provinces (municipalities directly under the central government) to which the four places belong are responsible for organizing and formulating the pilot implementation plan in accordance with THE PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE EXPANSION OF OPENING-UP OF VALUE-ADDED TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUSINESSES. The MIIT is responsible for organizing the assessment and demonstration of the pilot implementation plan and implementation conditions of the four places, and making approval.

【HKPC and Zhongguancun signed I&T development MOU】   HKPC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Zhongguancun Qingchuang (Beijing) International Technology Co., Ltd. (Zhongguancun) earlier, pledging to leverage their respective advantages to carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation to jointly promote Beijing-Hong Kong cooperation in innovation and technology (I&T) and enterprise development.   HKPC and Zhongguancun will collaborate to increase opportunities for exchanges and technical cooperation between enterprises in Hong Kong and the Mainland, especially Hong Kong and Beijing.
