I joined Minister Edwin in the visit to Xujiahui Sports Park to glean insights how they encourage active lifestyle amongst their people. Sports enthusiasts can engage in different outdoor and indoor sports such as running, swimming, badminton, table tennis and squash, in this highly integrated and comprehensive facility. The park also boasts a huge outdoor stadium which can accommodate more than 70,000 people for football tournaments and concerts, as well as a 12,000-seater indoor stadium that can host various sporting events!

Salestorrs, a new sport may soon put tennis, table tennis, and badminton in a pickle. The Times Group signed a joint venture agreement with Pickleball Asia, the Asian player community, to begin a new league called Pickleball World Series. The series will start in the US and move across continents, hosting six major events annually. The individual format of the World Series will have 64 players and six teams of four players each from different countries, including the US and India.
