Pleased to meet with Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng again since our last meeting in Shanghai in January this year! Minister Edwin Tong and Mayor Gong had very good exchange of views on how Singapore could strengthen cooperation with Shanghai in digital and sustainability, as well as finance and legal. I also took this chance to encourage both sides to step up on people-to-people exchanges and share each other's best practices. These ideas will pave the way for greater successes in our future cooperation, and the Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council! Stay tuned for more updates on the council meeting!
