California has almost a quarter of all US Female CEOs and in New York a quarter of CEOs are female. Northwest is just below the National Average for Female CEOs at 16%. Some of the best US Angel Networks count about 30% Female Angel Investors, while Europe still struggles with only 10%. Only 2% of venture capital goes to women entrepreneurs. 30% of women work with a financial professional today, only 20% feel confident managing assets. Meanwhile, 52% of wealth in the US is owned by women, above the worldwide average of 32%. What do these numbers tell you? How do you contribute to them? It’s Women's History Month so I’m gonna come on here and tell you how much I like money. It’s Women’’s History Month so I’m gonna let you know that money makes my life easier now that I have it, versus when I didn’t. It’s Women's History Month so I’m gonna share with you how I made millions even though I spent most of my life working a 9-5 job. When I was growing up, there weren't women who looked like me educating other women about investing. It often felt like the financial world was a distant, uninviting place, reserved for a select few. The lack of representation made it difficult to envision a future where I, as a woman of color, could confidently navigate the complexities of investing and financial growth. There were few role models in the world of finance, who shared my background, my struggles, or my dreams. However, I didn't let that stop me. I was a young lady, that was emboldened enough to start her own company educating other women on the art of investing. I knew that I had the power to make a difference and I had to give back by doing for other women what one woman had done for me! Today, as the founder of The Worthonomics Company, I am here to ensure that women, regardless of their background, feel empowered to take control of their financial destiny. My mission is to create a community where women can see themselves reflected in the world of investing, where they can learn, grow, and thrive together. Through education, strategy, and execution, I strive to make investing accessible and relatable.
