On 5th September 1994 it was my first day as an A level trainee at Ecclesiastical with Jane Carr FCII & last night we celebrated our friendship & 30 years in the insurance industry. Who would have thought all those years ago that we would have both had such exciting & fulfilling careers in an industry we grew to love (although Jane looks a lot more happier about it back in 1994 than me!). We have crossed paths at various points after leaving Ecclesiastical at Endsleigh Insurance Brokers, Willis Towers Watson and Aon (but at different times!) We have both met husbands within the industry and remained close throughout, supporting each other’s careers and also meeting fantastic friends, colleagues and mentors along the way! I won’t say here’s to another 30 years but definitely excited for what the future brings!
Love this Luce - I still can’t believe it’s been 30 years! It’s so great that we are both still enjoying being part of this industry that brought us together and introduced us to so many fantastic people. Here’s to continued success, friendship, and new adventures ahead! 🥂xx
Love this Lucy - you both haven’t changed at all since Endsleigh x
That's a great read Lucy . Like you, I have a number of lasting friendships that remain from my first day at work in this brilliant industry. It's something I talk about regularly in my TA role to our new joiners. "Friends will be made for life" !!
Congrats Lucy on the brilliant career you have had so far, and the exciting bit is that you have not hit your ceiling yet! You are unquestionably one of the bright stars I have worked with in insurance. Wishing you well in all you do Lucy.
Urm, how long? You don’t look old enough! x
Two of the best ladies in the business! x
Love this, and there is the very lovely Claire Owen (previously Townsend) stood in the foreground. Please can someone tag her to this. I know she would absolutely love it. xxxxx ❤️😍😘
Love this. Lx
Congratulations on the anniversary of friendship and work!!
