Such a wholesome journey we have had, from university to now being in the seed industry. All the work we put in was definitely worth it. And it's even more exciting to know that we are a part of the future of agriculture, which is female. As they say, "the future is female," and it's great to see more women taking on leadership roles in the industry. The representation and participation of women in cooperatives is low in most parts of the world. Agriterra wants to strengthen the position of female members and leaders in farmer-owned enterprises. Therefore, we have developed a female leadership trajectory to contribute to closing the gender gap in agricultural cooperatives.
