#OpportunityForReturners #SkillDevelopment #CareerOpportunity #SecondChance #TechnicalSkills #ProbationPeriod #ProfessionalGrowth #InclusiveHiring #DomainTransition Can we consider giving a chance to those who have been out of the domain for about a year or two? I've noticed many candidates who possess excellent knowledge in line with our requirements but may have been involved in different projects due to various circumstances. When they wish to return to their previous domain, they might need some time to brush up. Even after brushing up, they could occasionally lack certain technical skills because, over time, specific technologies may have been updated in that particular domain. In such cases, can we provide them with an opportunity? We can conduct a technical round based on the criteria, and if they are rated above average, we can allow them to join, placing them in a probationary period. Before joining, we can inform them to ensure they perform well during this period. This approach may encourage candidates to return to a domain they are passionate about. It also builds trust in the company that provides opportunities and values their contributions to the team. #Yourthoughtsonthis?"

Yes, it is a great way of fostering an inclusive culture. In fact, Juniper already has a program in place for folks returning to work. We have also hired few engineers with more than 5 years break in their careers for technical roles. Thanks for writing this, Madhu.
