Building Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow, Today!! What a vision!! I had an opportunity to be at the launch event of Bower School where Pavan Allena revealed his mission for the school! After reflecting on his journey of delivering over 3000+ hours of entrepreneurship content and empowering 1,00,000 + students in more than 15 cities, he has developed a vision of establishing a premier global entrepreneurship university, dedicated to nurturing and supporting aspiring young innovators - the launch of this new undergraduate school is dedicated to entrepreneurship. It was an honour to be part of this launch event of Bower school and also be part of the panel discussion - "Bridging the Theory-Practice Divide: Are Business Schools Keeping Pace with Industry Needs?" along with Praveen Garimella, Rathnakar Samavedam and Srikanth Reddy Sathi. It was a pleasure to engage in such a meaningful conversation and to be part of this landmark event, and hear insightful perspectives on how we can better align the business school curriculum and methodologies with industry demands. I shred my perspectives on how I believe that the future is both exciting and disruptive and the key lies in being future ready and empowering the individuals to thrive in the dynamic and demanding world of business. 1. Prioritize experiential learning through real-world projects and internships which enable to develop practical skills and apply knowledge in context 2. Focus on interdisciplinary skills and develop a wider skillset, including data analytics, tech skills, critical thinking, and communication, to prepare students for the digital age 3. Leverage technology by using online learning platforms, data visualization tools, and AI/ML applications to enhance learning andbe prepared for future trends. 4. Cultivate adaptability and lifelong learning through continuous learning and a growth mindset to help navigate the ever-changing business landscape. I wish Pavan Allena and his team the very best in their mission!! #Careergrowth #Highereducation #Futureofwork #Skilldevelopment #BusinessEducation #PanelDiscussion #IndustryNeeds #TheoryToPractice #Leadership #Innovation #Enterpreunership

Incubated & Scaled 7 Digital Native Businesses | Angel Investor | Business Incubation Specialist | Industry 4.0 Leader | Host of Founders Ashram Podcast
Having spoken at numerous business schools, I’ve observed a pressing gap: many programs don’t fully equip students for the realities of entrepreneurship. 🎓 Here’s how I believe business schools can evolve to better prepare the next wave of entrepreneurs: 1. Real-World Challenges: Integrate actual business scenarios into the curriculum to give students firsthand problem-solving experiences. I was grateful when a leading MBA college agreed to replace a standard test paper with a practical exercise, allowing students to make a pitch as if they were a startup—a pitch deck competition. 2. Cross-Disciplinary Learning: Encourage learning across fields to broaden understanding and inspire innovative thinking. 3. Industry Partnerships: Collaborating with businesses, universities can offer students practical experiences and insights directly from the current market. Industry immersion and a compulsory internship for 6 months are a must to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. 4. Focus on Scalability: Teach students not just to launch startups but to sustain and scale them thoughtfully and effectively. What are your thoughts? 🌍 What changes would you like to see in business education to better prepare future entrepreneurs? #BusinessEducation #Entrepreneurship #BusinessSchools #FutureLeaders #InnovationInEducation #CurriculumDevelopment #CrossDisciplinary #IndustryPartnerships #StartupGrowth #Scalability

Leading a team of designers, applied researchers and educators to build the future of learning and assessment.
What does it mean to be an entrepreneurial learner? Watch this message from John Seely Brown The exponential rate of digital innovation, including AI, is rapidly reordering the contours of knowledge and work. How do we prepare students to succeed in jobs and industries we can hardly imagine? #David Weinberg argues that we are moving from a world where knowledge means facts from books and experts to a world of ubiquitous free information. John Seely Brown argues “good questions are more important than answers.” As educators: How might we cultivate entrepreneurial learners, providing students with opportunities to explore new challenges and learn from others, working with industry partners and entrepreneurs in experiential internships and making and tinkering spaces? What experiences foster inquiry-driven learning, instill a sense of curiosity in the face of challenges, and enable students to develop and explore their interests and passions? John Seely Brown’s seminal lecture explores the concept of entrepreneurial learning, emphasizing that this does not simply involve becoming an entrepreneur but constantly seeking new ways and resources to learn. Entrepreneurial learning is akin to white-water kayaking in the rapidly changing currents of our networked age. Just as kayakers navigate unpredictable waters, seeking new approaches and adapting to sudden changes, entrepreneurial learners continually search for innovative resources and methods to enhance education. Brown stresses that mastering these new forms of learning is essential as the half-life of skills is shortening, necessitating individuals to adapt understanding, perspective, and approach. https://lnkd.in/gy2MjR_c Scott Bess, Mary Helen Immordino-Yang, EdD; Dena Simmons, Corey Scholes, Jeff Wetzler, Juliana Finegan, Greg Moffitt, Dr. Sasha Rabkin, Ed.D, Charles Fadel, Sunil Gunderia, Susan Enfield, Leslie Forde, Melissa Moore, Devin Vodicka, Laurie Gagnon, Anand Marri, Stephen Plank, Yutaka Tamura, Jabali Sawicki, Luke Ragland, Mario Piacentini, Joseph South, Daniel Jarratt, Kristen Lambertz-Berndt, Nicholas Fiori, C. Some Insights on Teaching Entrepreneurship - My Takeaways from a Discussion with Steve Blank Here are some of my key takeaways: 1. Entrepreneurship is more of an art or craft, like being a founder or artist, rather than a rote skill like accounting. It involves seeing things others don't and bringing a vision to life. 2. Similar to training artists via apprenticeship and practice, entrepreneurs can be trained through hands-on experience and learning from masters. Classroom learning is helpful, but practical application is critical. 3. We should introduce entrepreneurial concepts early, even in kindergarten, via activities like lemonade stands. This helps children appreciate how difficult it is to create something of value, even if they don't all become entrepreneurs. 4. Entrepreneurship education should involve both early exposure and experiential learning through apprenticeships and founder laboratories. This balances theory with practice. #entrepreneurship #startups #education #leadership #innovation

#Branding #Talent #Leads achieved with Fun & Purposeful Engagements (TechnoCreativist @CrowdProduct & MXR.world); Changemaker (The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), NASSCOM Product Skills, Stanford Seed Spark & more)
Thrilled to have witness the incredible energy at the National Startup Day Pitch Deck Competition hosted by Jain University’s Center for Management Studies. Kudos to Vineeth and other faculty / mentors for nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs among the BBA students in the WOW (World of Work) program! 🌟 Some of my highlights: 🤜 A notable 90% of these aspiring entrepreneurs hail from family businesses, and I'd imagine their first pitches need to resonate within their close family circles too. While 1st-year pitch decks are evolving, their ideation process is remarkable - solutions focused on Influencer Education and MSMEs Credit Worthiness caught my eye. ✍ Impressed by the refinement in 2nd & 3rd-year students, a testament to the campus's nurturing. These talents prioritize primary research (focus group sessions) and connecting with their audience over simply chasing investors. The IPL-style team-building auction added a fun twist, with top bids going to Naveen Tiwari, Ritesh Agarwal, and industry giants like Tatas, Ambanis, and Adanis. 🏎 Having engaged with these talents over the past two years, a standout lesson is their emphasis on external learning - networking, hands-on internships, and part-time jobs alongside classes. A testament to their time, dedication and the conducive environment on campus. Exciting times for the future of entrepreneurship, universities and jobs! 🌟 #Entrepreneurship #Startups #Innovation #NationalStartupDay"

How could I tell students and young professionals Who are excelling in academic and business pursuits That I am the right professional to help them develop The skills they desire out of an internship While teaching them that nothing about being a student Prevents them from becoming an entrepreneur Building businesses Acquiring businesses Building a venture studio to build other businesses Without walking the walk as a high-performing student Who has built businesses Acquired businesses and is live building a Venture Studio With portfolio companies in front of them To stay in congruency with the Gen Z philosophy "if you don't have receipts then it didn't happen". There is a $100 trillion wealth transfer occurring In the economy as retirement becomes a reality For many Americans who may also desire to pass down A generational asset or sell the business and share the proceeds With the next generation in their family Regardless of the motivation, as the saying goes in sports "father time is undefeated". Meaning even for talents like Kobe Bryant Michael Jordan, Lebron James (eventually) Age impacts their ability to perform at the highest levels In the business world, we are not limited by needing to have the athleticism to guard humans moving at 17 to 25 mph. So we can work much later in our lives At our given profession or business Eventually, there comes a time when energy wanes As one of the first stages of aging is dropping energy levels This is the market-level problem we are going to solve at Chambers Capital Ventures. We want to become a proverbial "fountain of youth" So businesses have time to develop succession plans and Create roadmaps to integrate artificial intelligence into the business and Build plans to automate repetitive processes across operations Our model is a shared resource pool of high-performing academic and business talent who are trained in prompt engineering and work in teams to execute an initiative. Built on the principles of a Lion's Pride Where I as the Alpha am responsible for Training and development of the skills of the young lions Who grow up to take over prides of their own (private equity) Work in teams to acquire resources (venture capital) And maintain order over the pride's territory (business operations) We help our clients deliver on their mission, vision, and values by providing an operational uplift of artificial intelligence and automation along with business development and networking. I am a current student with a goal Of a 4.0 GPA in my MBA program Starting my Ph.D. in the Philosophy of Business Administration While building and guiding teams of the best-emerging minds In the academic and business world To transform 5 1/2 years of being a "one-person Accenture" Into the world's first Business Architecture Firm To my first class of interns at Chambers Capital Ventures Welcome to the first day of 2024! #BeforeAndAfterWithSSETS I am currently privileged to be a participant in a programme that has changed my approach to academia and entrepreneurial thinking. The experience has been nothing short of transformative, reshaping my mindset and opening up a world of new possibilities. #BeforeWithSSETS: Before embarking on this eye-opening journey with #SSETS, my focus as an academician was primarily on research, publications, and traditional academic pursuits. While these were fulfilling, I felt a longing for something more; a desire to bridge the gap between academia and real-world impact, to harness my knowledge and skills in ways that could lead to entrepreneurial outcomes. #DuringtheProgram: So far, the programme has got me immersed in a dynamic headspace of out-of-the-box thinking, collaboration, and action. The first week’s task sparked up new realities in my approach to social media engagements, especially on LinkedIn. The highlight of week 1 for me was being exposed to the 12 dimensions of #EntrepreneurialThinking. I realized I had been practicing a few of them without being intentional and strategic about them. For example: #EntrepreneurialThinkingNumber3 - Providing solutions to societal problems. https://shorturl.at/hyIOQ #EntrepreneurialThinkingNumber7 - Presenting at international conferences. https://shorturl.at/ijtQ9 #EntrepreneurialThinkingNumber8 - Writing and publishing articles, blogs, and content. https://lnkd.in/dbGeFzMX #EntrepreneurialThinkingNumber12 - Organising an industry guest lecture for your students to enhance their employability; and #EntrepreneurialThinkingNumber4 - Innovating on how you teach your students. https://shorturl.at/jnLR2 Now I have learned to be more intentional with content sharing and posts. This programme has not only expanded my horizons but has also begun to redefine my identity as an academician with entrepreneurial acumen. I am excited to continue this journey of growth, innovation, and impact, blurring the lines between academia and entrepreneurship, and I look forward to the exciting possibilities that lie ahead. Armed with this newfound confidence and a strategic mindset, #Wemooove! #AfterWithSSETS: I believe my experience on #SSETS will be a profound transformation of the academic I used to be, and my perspectives towards #EntrepreneurialThinking will be to view challenges as opportunities, failures as learning experiences, and ideas as seeds of innovation. Thanks to the organisers and funding organisations backing the programme: Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Lancaster University, British Council, National Universities Commission (NUC) and Nile University of Nigeria. Big kudos to Dr. Akanimo Odon and Dr Viola Akhigbe for their relentless commitment to this programme.
