#TeamTalentCorp recently organised a successful Open Day in collaboration with the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Malaysia (TWCHAM), which was conducted virtually. This event gathered over 117 attendees from 61 companies, significantly highlighting the importance of collective efforts in talent development and industry collaboration. The event started with introductory remarks by Hsu Shang Chih, President of the Penang Standing Committee, emphasising our shared commitment to nurturing talent, followed by a warm welcome from Tsai Hsin Tien, National VP of TWCHAM, who echoed the sentiments of cooperation and future vision. Our #TeamTalentCorp Brian Wai Seng Choong took the stage to share insights into TalentCorp's initiatives. Sathiamurthi Ratnam and Aidi Ghazi provided the attendees with comprehensive briefings on the MYXpats programme and Residence Pass-Talent, respectively, showcasing the efforts to facilitate talent mobility. Nakeeran Marimuthu also delivered a presentation on the MYNext programme. This event set the stage for future efforts to enrich Malaysia's talent landscape. Panga and Viventis Search Asia (VIVENTIS) Executive Director Yu Ming Chin signed last October 19 a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on an Investment Promotion Partnership to strengthen the workforce and human resource management, provide high-quality of the candidate pool and expand professional links in economic zones. Under the Ka-PIPPs program of the signed MOA, Viventis will provide PEZA with relevant information and insights on the local and international workforce and skills supply demand, trends, and changes in critical industries. Viventis also aims to promote the economic potential of the Philippines as an emerging economic powerhouse by strategizing on programs and other investment areas that will make the Philippines an attractive location for new businesses, which can further bring new skills and job opportunities to its local job market.
