Last week, my international commercial team and I spent 3 incredible days in the field, covering 3 of our key markets: Italy, Germany, and France. Planes, trains and automobiles springs to mind! It's amazing what we can achieve when we align our goals, collaborate closely, and work together. Building and strengthening these relationships face-to-face reminded me how powerful teamwork and collaboration can be. We tackled challenges head-on and came out stronger as a team. The impact of our collaboration will be seen in the future, and I'm excited for what's to come. Ready to keep pushing forward and make great things happen together! #Teamwork #Collaboration #Partnerships #Inspiration #TogetherWeCan Pictured below is our newly formed international team, strategising on the 4 hour train journey from Frankfurt to Paris! Tim Stijven was featured recently talking about our current take on the US market and how the Rebild Kommune network has played it's part in our growth. (article in Danish and select part translated below) https://lnkd.in/dymbn9DG "Tim Stijven, CEO at Turnpikes, sees the network as an obvious opportunity to get sparring and create connections with other companies that also have relations with the US: - It is always very interesting to hear other companies' experience in this area, as well as to expand our local network of other companies with a focus on the same international markets as us. It is Tim's assessment that there are areas where Danish companies have a special potential to enter the American market: - I would think that our Danish approach to business and challenges helps us, as we are agile and service-minded, and give our best in a very honest way. This approach can help us as a Danish company in the American market. According to Tim, there are several aspects that a company must take into account when operating in such a large and complex market as the American market: - It is a large market with many nuances to deal with – it is everything in relation to marketing, financing, customer behavior etc. Our experience is that it takes time to build up and requires a lot of effort to establish yourself. We have been in Canada since 2022, and are successful with sales in the USA, but are of course considering whether we should establish ourselves further in North America, especially in the USA, says Tim in conclusion." #USA #Denmark

Povilas Sadaunykas has been the Baltics Manager for just over five months, yet his significant impact is already felt throughout the organization. In his recent interview, he shares key insights on driving success and leadership in the Baltic offices. Povilas highlights the differences between Lithuanian and Nordic work styles, emphasizing the importance of balancing efficiency and thoroughness: 💡 “Lithuanians tend to be rather strict, aiming to complete tasks quickly and at a high level. In contrast, the Nordic approach is generally more relaxed and analytical, taking time to consider all aspects before making decisions.” Successful management requires not only understanding your employees but also prioritizing the client. As Povilas says, "Ultimately, everything we do is for the client," reflecting on the unification of the Baltic operations. “The unification is crucial because our clients are also moving in this direction. They prefer working with a single company across multiple countries. For example, a client expanding from Latvia to Lithuania wants to work with the same company in both countries. If we can’t offer that, they’ll look for someone who can,” comments Povilas. Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/exk7H4QU

X-Division Networking: A Productivity Boost from International Collaboration Over the past two weeks, our organization had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation of colleagues from China. Led by the Operations Director, Plant Managers, and TVO Leaders, this visit was a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration and foster knowledge exchange across our global network. The primary objective of their visit was to engage with our Purchasing and Operations leaders across multiple countries. Our Chinese counterparts toured several of our plants located in Morocco, Portugal, Poland, and France. During these site visits, they explored our production processes, and closely examined our products and digital solutions. The visit provided a unique opportunity for cross-divisional networking. Colleagues from different corners of the world came together to share insights, best practices, and innovative ideas. Our Chinese colleagues brought fresh perspectives, drawing parallels between their experiences and ours. By benchmarking against each other, we aimed to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence. Three key themes emerged during our interactions: Plant Efficiency: Our Chinese counterparts were particularly interested in understanding how we optimize our production lines and logistic flows, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency. Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE): VAVE is a powerful methodology that focuses on maximizing value while minimizing costs. Together, we explored ways to apply VAVE principles to our existing processes and products. The goal was to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Internal Productivity: Digital solutions play a pivotal role in boosting internal productivity. We discussed data analytics, Material Yield and vertical integration. I extend my gratitude to our Chinese guests, the Plant team and Support Functions for their openness and support to make those visits possible. Manuela Santos WU Di Dmitry Konstantinov NABIL HAMDANE Lionel Becker Benjamin Escaffre Roos Claeyssens José Miguel Azevedo Fabrice Didillon Carlos Félix Adil SBAITI Thank you for being part of this enriching experience. Let’s continue to learn from one another and drive excellence across borders! #Forvia #FAS #Seating #TVO #VAVE

Last week we flew our entire team to Porto. - We went out to eat. - Organised a shoot day with them. - And even gave them a day off to explore. Some CEOs would look at us and call us crazy. ↳ 🗣️ ”What’s the ROI on that money spent?!?” Truthfully, there wasn’t one. But when Morgan & I started this we agreed to create a company we would WANT to work for. People spend 50+ years: - Cashing a cheque. - Hating their company. - And moaning about their bosses. We don’t want that to be anyone who works for us. (Although I’m sure they do moan about us sometimes) So we made it our mission to create a place where people actually wanted to work. That means: - Keeping work light-hearted. - Helping their personal development. - And even flying them to Porto sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, Morgs & I are far from perfect and we definitely don’t have everything figured out. But I think it’s things like this that more founders should look to do for their team. It’s a small blip on your balance sheet. Yet it’s a lifelong memory for your staff.
