I believe we should appreciate the entire team and leaderships at CDC the services they have been providing atleast for the last more than 2 decades which I have been following them as Infection Control Professional using CDC guidelines weather on HAI and or Pandemic. The Healthcare Organizations benefited a lot from CDC in managing their IPC Programs. Remember pandemic COVID has really changed the world and the way we do surveillance and manage respiratory viruses such as what we going thru like the triple respiratory viruses or more it’s really challenging and whatever efforts we make as an institution or an organization or as a leader we can still make a difference but there is always room for improvement and we learn from our past and present to make future communities healthier and well prepared and protected. So challenges are there but there are always opportunities to make it work better the next time. So lets cheers Mandy👏🥂

I’m sorry. I disagree. No relevant information on Covid which is surging, no updates on the bird flu situation and crickets on Monkey pox. This is not something to celebrate. You have the power to do so much more. I hope that eventually you rise to the occasion. I would love to see the CDC once again come to be revered on the world stage.

As a result of the challenges scientists, medical professionals and agencies had presenting critical info about COVID, climate change and cybersecurity to the public, we are creating a non-profit Presentation Proving Ground to help public sector thought leaders & taxpayer funded scientists present their ideas in high stakes/high-profile scenarios w/help from a judge, coach, and runnerup in the World Championship of Public Speaking and former International president of Toastmasters as well as former CIOs of DHS, Commerce, & Energy, and military and US Senate executive leadership. If you are delivering a high profile or high stakes presentation and would like some world championship level feedback, send me a message.

You didn’t want to collaborate with rescue groups before enacting this ridiculous rule that pups under the age of 6 months cannot come into the USA. Blaming rabies as a reason is absolutely BS, many Caribbean islands are rabies free Mandy. I lost faith in the CDC when covid hit and now I really don’t trust any guidance from the CDC. Enacting this stupid clause saying no pup ynder the age of 6 months can come to the US needs to be reviewed. It affects state pilice dogs, fema dog recruitment and international rescue. Do not blame international rescue efforts for causing the shelter crisis. Blame vets for being too expensive and people being forced to dump their dogs and cats at a shelter. Reduce the age limit to 16 weeks your claim that rescues are bringing rabies to this country is ridiculous. aruba is rabies free

Mandy, please please reconsider the ban on puppies younger than six months into the United States. Organizations like the Potcake Canine Rescue in Turks and Caicos are ensuring good homes for healthy puppies all over the States. My daughter and I have had many interactions with the dedicated team and have couriered a puppy to a family in Brooklyn and I can say from personal experience these dogs are healthy, up to date on their shots and are being placed in loving homes. The key is they need to travel when they are still small enough to fly in the cabin. Most potcakes are too big after six months of age. Please visit the good people at Potcake Place and see for yourself. Thank you for giving this important issue the time it deserves.

Do you have a response for the hundreds and hundreds of devastated individuals regarding the CDC's recent Ban on any Puppy entering the United States that is under the age of 6 months old? You do know that thousands upon thousands of innocent puppies will die, because of this ban, and you can do something about it. Will you?
