Does anyone else identify with this? #relatable No one is better positioned to understand people and their impact on a business than HR, and most HR pros I know have a 'spidey sense' when interpersonal dynamics are heading south in a way that can damage the business. As much as I wish everyone inherently valued HR's perspective, it's often on us to influence, convince, and bring our colleagues along with us. In a high-performing business every leader has their own agenda - understanding their motivations and bringing them along for the ride can be a fun and rewarding challenge! HR, the heart of the organization

People don't understand the constant conflict and emotions we need to deal with on a daily basis and still balance that with our own conflicts and personal life that deals with the same, and is expected of us just to remain calm and objective. I am going to be honest, I have to dismiss over 3 employees in one week and even though it is like for an example now just before the Christmas Festive season - so I dismiss at least 10 employees a month before Christmas - do you understand what it does do your mental wellbeing and it is expected that we do not show any emotion at all. I can write books about this topic.
