Consumers are shifting away from alcohol, especially beer. Any category can lose relevance. Regardless of its size, it comes down to what consumers value and are willing to buy. And it is not the product. It is the brand and what value it represents. Marketing is about creating new value that consumers consider distinctive enough to pay a premium for. A Bud Light boycott in 2023 reshuffled the beer industry, vaulting Modelo Especial to the top spot in America. At the same time, many people simply stopped drinking beer altogether. What truly sets Budweiser apart is its crisp, clean taste, consistent quality and competitive pricing, making it a go-to choice for casual gatherings and celebrations. However, during our research, we encountered a surprising reality: Budweiser's scarcity in the market. While demand remains high, supply seems to be lagging, potentially impacting overall revenue and sales for the company. This gap between demand and availability presents a critical opportunity for Budweiser. We would like to urge the company to address this critical situation. Addressing this issue will not only satisfy existing loyal customer base but also attract new consumers seeking a refreshing, value-for-money beer.
