A Big Thank You. So today was my last day of continuous care for Acute Leukaemia. I was previously informed I was in remission 2 days before Christmas, and that I had 2 more cycles of Chemotherapy to consolidate treatment, that finished Monday and today I had my last bone marrow biopsy. I now move onto monthly check ups. I have been tremendously lucky to be supported by Friends and Family, but also received some lovely message of support from previous colleagues. Team Red Flag Alert were and are tremendous people, and I cannot wait to return to work in June - Part Time to begin with but then full time ready for a very busy year. I will be eternally grateful for all of the support given to me by Manchester Royal Haematology Department - Ward 44 & Out Patients - what a fabulous team of doctors and nurses. Again thank you for your messages of support, reaching out for chat, and genuinely been great people.
So happy to read this Mark, massive congratulations 🖤
