🤝 Local partnerships are the lifeline of comprehensive care support. They create a network of resources that can address the multifaceted needs of individuals requiring care. 🏥 From my experience, when social care providers, local businesses, and community organizations collaborate, the quality and accessibility of care soar. This synergy ensures that care is not just a service but a community mission. 🌱 Take, for instance, a local clinic partnering with a food bank. Together, they can tackle not just medical issues but also nutritional deficiencies that may hinder a patient's recovery. This holistic approach is vital for comprehensive care. 👥 Encouraging comments and thoughts on this can spark a conversation on how we can strengthen our local care networks. What partnerships have you seen or been a part of that have made a difference in your community? #HealthcarePartnerships #CommunityCare #LocalSupport

Our long-term partnership with Care Ring is rooted in community voice and building relationships that optimize true care for a community - and not just transactional services. This week's article from Ryan Pitkin at The QC Nerve highlights how this work influenced locations and offerings for Care Ring's mobile health clinic - The Bridge - and in turn, more people receiving the healthcare they need. We're so inspired by the way our teammate Helen Hope Kimbrough builds trust in communities by listening and being proximate to the issues neighbors face - including, in this case, what it might take for an individual to access the clinic and making that walk herself. As she says in the article, “I wanted to see what it would be like for a mom to walk with two kids, or for a person who does not speak English or a second language, how would they navigate that?” she explained. “I also wanted to see what type of things would be needed for a person who may be disabled. And so along that walk, I got a chance to kind of embody some of that, because I feel like some of this work people come to with a bias. So how do we pull back all of that so that we can literally look to see the neighborhood — what’s going on, the people, the bus routes, all of those things?” You can read the article here: https://lnkd.in/eAXsEGbd For more about what Next Stage believes about Community Voice, read our recent report, "Inside Out: The Case for Community Voice:" https://lnkd.in/efvfu-4R
