In 2022 EU Human trafficking victims increased by 41% to 10K+. The revised Anti-Trafficking Directive is a key step in strengthening #childprotection. A common question that circulates the media is why do survivors of sexual violence choose not to report to the police. With constant court backlogs and low conviction rates, it can be very difficult for survivors to think that the police can help. A survey conducted by Rape Crisis England & Wales shows the following reasons that survivors choose not to report and may confine in someone they trust or are close to.
