Member of the Executive Board for Sales, Marketing and After Sales at Volkswagen Passenger Cars

Today marks the beginning of a new era for #Ford in Europe. We are starting mass production of the new all-electric #FordExplorer at our #Cologne Electric Vehicle Center. Following a $2 billion investment the team has transformed a historic plant, founded in 1930, into a state-of-the-art factory of the future. This is a significant step on the road to producing a new generation of high-quality electric passenger vehicles in Europe for our customers across Europe. What an amazing job by so many at Ford Motor Company who worked on achieving this historic milestone! Thank you! #ExploringReinvented #ElectricVehicles #EV #Transformation #Köln #team

It appears that electric vehicle sales have experienced a notable slowdown. For instance, the nearby Ford dealership has a significant inventory of unsold Lightning vehicles. In light of this situation, I would like to inquire about the marketing strategies and pricing plans for the new Explorer model. Additionally, I am interested in understanding the company's approach to addressing potential battery defects and the associated replacement costs. It is crucial to ensure that customers do not end up with an expensive, non-functional vehicle due to battery issues.

What an unnecessarily huge (and ugly) tank of a car. They make the road even more dangerous than it is, thus increasing the demand for SUVs and trucks out of "self-defense". While also taking up more of the contested (parking) space in the city and being hugely immobile (they slow me down in traffic... I'm on a bike). It's such a pity that these heavy and perversely inefficient (through their mass) cars are now the major EV models.

Hope they have a big car park like Tesla in Germany to store them

So how are these fandago electric batteries charged? It’s the combustion engine and not forgetting the poor women (men included) children mining for the rare earth metals to produce the batteries etc al ! What you are proposing is pure hypocrisy and some! Wake up and smell the coffee ☕️

Waste of money, no one wants or needs them, FORD have lost BILLIONS in their EV division and for some reason your carrying on, the EV bubble has long burst.

A $2 billion investment? Well good luck on your ROI! Electric vehicles are not the solution…!!!
