The most important question is what are the manufacturers doing to improve the lives of the technicians that have to work on these cars. As a technician I have worked on all makes and models for 15 years and my pay hasn't increased. The problem is you introduce more and more complications and expect the technician to be paid the same. While that may not be the manufacturer's issue as they've not done it, something has to be done. Electrification is something that we have to do. I agree but at some point people up top have to realize that the technicians are what saves the cars and what saves the problems on the assembly line and what has to work on all these new technologies that we have to get trained for all for us to make less than 100,000 a year because of the way that we get paid.
