As the saying goes: April showers, bring May flowers. In my view, the equity #market is getting soaked and I shared with Melissa Lee of CNBC’s #SquawkBox what factors are driving this correction. However, I remain optimistic there is an upcoming bloom. There are many positives in this mixed bag of data, such as consumer spending. Today is the final day of the quarter and the eve of a long weekend so trading should be mostly quiet, although some quarter-end book squaring could make for some low volume volatility late in the day.
