REALTOR - Sellers - I will help you make the most when you sell your home. Buyers - You will love your new home. Investors - Let's build wealth together.
Comparison is only good when it’s used to motivate you. But if you feel that tinge comparing yourself, wondering why you haven’t achieved a certain goal versus one of your peers, stop right there. We are all unique individuals with unique life circumstances. Comparing external goals to your internal value is a recipe for a bad mood. Learn what you can from those who are exceeding in your field and then put it aside. Why would you compare a worker who volunteers 15 hours a week at the homeless shelter to a worker who puts in an extra 15 hours a week at the company? Why would you compare a realtor whose goal is to make as much money as possible to a realtor whose goal is to put 100 families into their first home ever? Why would you compare a person that may be an extrovert and performs well on stage to a highly effective introverted team leader whose team is performing with the best results and culture scores? It’s all about what you really value. Do you value the external? Does your manager value the external? That comes back to the culture within your unit. I learned my life lesson. Valuing souls that are walking in the light and doing good in their life matters more than job titles. The package is not always an indicator of what’s inside the heart. Judge yourself, by what’s in your heart not through comparisons to others packages.
As I celebrate my birthday today, I'm reflecting on how much it’s built into our youth-worshipping culture that we have to do everything by the time we’re 30. But as I’ve learned first-hand, we can build our dreams at any age! 💜

If you’re like me, there’s so much to do and think about that it’s easy to skip the little wins and just focus on celebrating when we reach the destination. Here’s what I’ve learned though: The celebrations along the way are a lot more important. They build morale for the journey. They build loyalty for the team. They build confidence for the challenges to come. They establish patterns for longevity. They build a culture for noticing when people do great work and helping others repeat it on purpose. When we find moments to celebrate along the way, we encourage the work and behaviors that ultimately move us toward our destination. So the question is: Who can you celebrate this week?

Hi everyone. I'd like to share with all of you some information about Living Corporate , a great resource for organizations that plan to amplify and connect with Black and Brown communities. Their approach to media campaigns, both internal and external , is very unique in this space. I encourage you to take a look if this is potentially a part of your strategy (or if is not, how they could be). Check out the case studies if you get a chance--really interesting. https://lnkd.in/gkpBbuWi

As Black Heritage Month comes to a close AND in honor of celebrating TWO years (on 2/22!) in my role with LinkedIn last week, I want to share TWO BIG things I’ve focused on during my time in role: 1.) RESILIENCE is KEY - taking a leaf out of this year’s Black Heritage Month theme, when you are faced with challenges(which we know in our careers WILL occur), it’s all about HOW you overcome them. Look your challenges in the eye, and KNOW that you CAN work through them. And don’t be afraid to innovate! 2.) ALWAYS BE LEARNING - this is regardless of your time in role and your overall professional career. There is ALWAYS more to learn, but it’s up to YOU to seek it out and invest in your learning. Cheers to TWO years! ✨ #linkedinlife

Happy Mid-week everyone! 🎉 So in my usual fashion honor of Black History Month UK them, it is time to give another shoutout to our Black NHS Sisters. The response to Samantha Ming and my initiative has been overwhelming, and we are grateful for all the positive feedback we have received so far. Last week, NHS England launched a fantastic framework around staff recognition. Did you know that recognition in the workplace has been shown to positively influence staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention? It's true! Showing appreciation and gratitude through recognition can be as simple as a verbal 'thank you' or as formal as presenting someone with a workplace award. However, a lack of recognition or poorly delivered recognition can cause people to disengage and feel undervalued. Let's all take a moment to recognize and appreciate our colleagues for the hard work they do every day. Check out the framework here: https://lnkd.in/eGVKW4mV You all know the drill - Love the reel (Sam has jazzed it up again!) Like, share, tag, repost, insta, facebook etc! Delia M.
