The #SMEConnect project, coordinated by Flux50 , offered 28 Flemish and Dutch SMEs access to the Open Thor Living Lab* and support from VITO/EnergyVille. 5 SMEs already started using it. DigiTwins4PEDs – Utilisation of Urban Digital Twins to Co-create Flexible Positive Energy Systems for Districts

Commencing in January, the Urban Future Lab (UFL) at #NYUTandon , in collaboration with Greentown Labs, will serve as the supportive entry point in the U.S. for the fourth cohort of Innovate UK’s Global Incubator Programme: Clean Growth edition. This initiative is specifically designed to foster and assist the establishment of innovative climate technology companies demonstrating significant potential for international scalability into new markets. The annual program extends the opportunity to eight U.K.-based businesses, enabling them to explore the U.S. market and gain access to esteemed mentors over a six-month period. Stephen George + Partners (SGP) is pleased to announce that North Warwickshire Borough Council has resolved to grant planning consent for MIRA Technology Park South Site, a strategic development park of up to 213,500 sqm of employment space on a 59ha site near Nuneaton. Aimed at advanced manufacturing SGP’s masterplan can accommodate units ranging in size from 250,000 sqft up to 1,000,000 sqft, complementing the existing R&D facilities at MIRA Technology Park, and meeting the increasingly bespoke requirements of a growing hi-tech manufacturing industry. AccessCity4All Adapting the 15-Minute City Concept to Support Active Mobility in Neighbourhoods with Different Levels of Accessibility Residents in urban areas may interpret their accessibility to basic services in their neighbourhoods differently. The 15-minute city concept, which calculates the potential access to specific places within 15 minutes, can be complemented by results from the AccessCity4All project. The project pays special attention to people with different needs and abilities. This project assesses and acknowledges residents’ perceived and actualised accessibility in ten neighbourhoods. located in Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and Türkiye. Using various methods such as walk-along interviews or PPGIS surveys, the project will provide innovative urban planning procedures for an adaptive 15-minute city in both central neighbourhoods and urban outskirts.
