Helping women and families feel in control of their financial futures.
Meet Trevor Rosenbaum! Trevor joined our team at MassMutual South Carolina earlier this year.
Trevor grew up in South Jersey, earning scholarships to play basketball in college. After school, he searched long and hard to find his purpose in life, trying nearly every industry. He desired a greater impact and had nothing to show for it which is how he landed in our office! He currently lives in Charleston with his two dogs, Archie and Hamilton and girlfriend Ali. In his free time he enjoys improv comedy, playing the piano, and training for bodybuilding shows.
Welcome Trevor!

🌟 Celebrating Team
I'm thrilled to highlight the incredible camaraderie and cohesiveness displayed by the Seattle Storm's 🏀 team as they honor Nika Muhl!
In a display of solidarity, the Storm came together to recognize Nika's dedication, perseverance, and passion for her academic achievement. This gesture not only demonstrates the strength of their bond but also reflects the values of teamwork and support that define their journey to success on and off the court.
Fostering a culture of camaraderie and mutual respect can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
Takeaways:
1. Support Each Other: Prioritize supporting our teammates and colleagues through both triumphs and challenges.
2. Celebrate Diversity: Nika's journey reminds us of the richness that diversity brings to a team. Embracing different backgrounds and perspectives strengthens our collective abilities.
3. Communicate: Effective communication is at the heart of any successful team. By fostering open dialogue and active listening, we can better understand each other and work towards common objectives.
4. Power of Encouragement: A simple gesture of encouragement can go a long way in boosting morale and fostering a positive team environment.
🏀 How do you cultivate camaraderie within your #team or #business?

Dwayne The Rock Johnson played 1/3 of all leading roles with "Asian and Pacific Islander" heritage between 2007 and 2019 (out of the 1,300 top-grossing films).
Talking about representation in class the other day, some students once again noted that even when "non-majority" groups are centered in media, it almost always centers on a stereotypical or, in this case, uniquely unrelatable character.
We love The Rock, but that dude has a singular experience. Inspirational? Sure. Relatable? I don't know.
But instead of focusing on the problem, we can look at solutions. The solution in this case, as in with most cases of media and creativity, is to get more voices in the room.

As we gear up for the upcoming Super Bowl weekend, we're thrilled to share a 2019 throwback to a moment that still resonates deeply with us from Super Bowl LIII. Red Thread had the honor of producing a PSA spot for CBS Cares and Girls Inc., voiced by Gayle King, that features a team of young girls playing against the New York Giants. This spot served as a reminder that teamwork, determination, and believing in oneself can lead to success at the highest level in any field
Behind the scenes, this spot was driven by a strong team of women who brought their talent and dedication to every aspect of its creation:
Director: Nadine Licostie
Producer: Connie Grazia
Cinematographer: Mai Iskander
Editor: Justine Warwick
Choreographer: Melinda Buckley
This weekend as we celebrate this year's Super Bowl, let's carry this inspiring message forward and continue to empower each other to reach new heights.
Here's to strength in unity and unwavering resilience!

He’s a Cubs fan…
In the world of rivalries, the crosstown teams of the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Cubs have a legacy of producing some passionate fans. Even when the Cubs went to the World Series, a devout White Sox fan could not muster up the strength to cheer the Cubs on to victory — even though they’re both Windy City citizens.
So imagine the divine humor that took place when I met Brad Imburgia in 2017 and became fast friends. Very few people know me as well as this guy. We’ve worked together, we’ve made a few late-night Taco Bell runs, we’ve shared more than a few laughs, and our families get along as well as we do.
Not only is he an incredible friend who offered to meet me on his day off, but he helped me to unravel the mess of my message (think backlashed fishing reel kind of mess). He helped me see my curiosities and seemingly disparate interests as assets and not liabilities. I left our two-hour conversation feeling like I knew who I was and the trajectory I was on. The man’s a genius when it comes to cutting through words, thoughts, and left-field ideas to bring a simple statement of clarity.
If you need help with bringing a focused direction to your business and how it’s portrayed to the market in an authentic way — Brad’s your guy. Seriously. He gets people. He cares about people’s stories. He’s got an uncanny ability to help make great things from listening to what you have to say.
And he’s a close friend of mine…even if he is a Cubs fan.

Here are some examples of successful people who have demonstrated patience:
1) J.K. Rowling was rejected by 12 publishers before her first Harry Potter book was accepted. She persevered and eventually achieved success.
2) Oprah Winfrey was fired from her job as a news anchor because she was "unfit for television." She went on to become one of the most successful talk show hosts of all time.
3) Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. He went on to become one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
These examples show that patience is essential for achieving long-term success. If you are patient and persevere, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

What a great night we had with our Director and VP of Operations. Initially, I thought the purpose of team building activities outside of work were to build comradery. However, this week I took away so much more than that.
As I witnessed the different approaches to the same goal, it inspired me to record. I injured my shoulder 6 years ago bowling at this same location and never played again after enduring physical therapy. Therefore, I had no plans in participating. Instead, I tried using various size bowling balls and requested guidance from the team on what was best. I studied what my peers were doing and used the same size balls as my peers who were achieving strikes. By doing this, I was able to clear my spares, but it was not until I remembered to utilize the markings on the lane floor is when I finally achieved a strike.
Prior to 2023, I focused on others growth and potential I did not consider my own. Maintaining self-discipline and how I can make a positive impact on others so much I forget to recognize myself. All the knowledge and skills I have developed over the years I seen them as tools for others instead of strengths and accomplishments. I take pride in being brilliant at the basics. It is how I was able to utilize a simple app like Clips, to edit this video. I see mistakes as opportunities to gain experience and make corrections. I am so proud of the accomplishments our Houston @Percepta team has achieved and since I am apart of the Houston management team, I can say that I am proud of myself. I cannot wait to see what we accomplish in 2024! (Don’t own the rights to the music in this video). #perceptasgottalent#management#development#teambuilding#selfdevelopment
