🌎 From Brazil to the USA: My Journey in the World of Cloud Solutions 🚀 🌐 From starting my career in the vibrant Brazilian market, I never imagined the incredible journey that awaited me. Today, I want to share my story with you. 🚀 Motivation: The desire to expand my horizons and immerse myself in the world of IT solutions on a global scale motivated me to take the leap. The potential for growth and innovation in the North American market was too enticing to resist. 🤝 Challenges: Even working from home, the transition wasn't without its challenges. Adapting to a new work culture and understanding the nuances of the North American business landscape required dedication and perseverance. This involved a lot of changes, including time zones, work schedules (for this I need to thank my wife and friends for being patient with me while I was working in Brazilian holidays), and dealing with a different culture. However, these challenges only fueled my determination. 💡 Valuable Experiences: Over the last 1.5 years, I've had the privilege of working with diverse clients, conducting requirement collection sessions, and delivering tailored technology solutions including SAP and OneStream projects in local (US) and global (Multi-Country) landscapes. These experiences have expanded my skill set and deepened my appreciation for the power of IT solutions in transforming businesses. 🌐 Global Insights: Change Management is King in every project! Working in different markets has given me a unique perspective. I've learned that while the challenges may vary, the core principles of effective solutions implementation remain consistent worldwide. This global insight has been invaluable in my role as a presales manager. 🙌 I am grateful for the enriching journey that has led me here, and I look forward to continuing to help organizations unlock their full potential with their technological solutions. Starting my new year with a career reflection in a take10 interview with John Massey; my mentor at SAP. Thanks john! These past 20 years have been nothing short of a roller-coaster; from the early days as a customer service executive to being an intrapreneur in advertising industry to launching a global telecom brand or setting it all up in online retail and starting all over again in SAP, every chapter has sculpted me into the professional (and person) I am today; My key takeaways from the journey: 1. Learning never stops: Whether formal classes, on-the-job challenges, or late-night Googling, every day brings new knowledge.  2. Business is the true north - Focus on what's right and important for business and customer's; rest will follow. Be mindful of not falling into the KPI trap. 3. Fear is a liar: Don't let the "what ifs" hold you back. Take calculated risks, step outside your comfort zone, and watch your wings grow. 4. Build Connections: People are your greatest support. Build genuine connections, offer help, and be a pillar in your community. I'm excited for 2024 and what lies ahead. Now, it's your turn!
