Listen in on our intriguing conversation with David E. Williams of the CareTalk podcast as we discuss why whole-person care is a critical solution for improving health equity. #wevegotyou, #wholepersoncare, #wherevertheycallhome
As the U.S. population continues to age, Medicare is rapidly consuming a larger portion of the federal budget. In 2023, Medicare expenditures reached a staggering $1 trillion, accounting for approximately 3.1% of the U.S. GDP. Looking ahead, Statista projects that Medicare outlays will soar to $2.1 trillion by 2034, representing around 4.2% of the anticipated U.S. GDP. Such a trajectory of unsustainable spending necessitates innovative and effective solutions. Tune in to this week’s episode of CareTalk Podcast: Healthcare. Unfiltered., where host David E. Williams is joined by Matrix Medical Network’s CEO Catherine J. Tabaka and Chief Medical Officer Mike Cantor, MD, JD, as they reveal why whole person care is the critical solution for improving health equity. 📲 Listen to the full episode 🎧👇 Apple Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gP4RBeTY Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gvjQvJtR YouTube: https://lnkd.in/gArHtDqP #healthcarepodcast #healthcare #medicare #federalspending #usbudget #healthcarecosts #wholepersoncare

Excited for the opportunity to help amplify this important Medicare Advantage research commissioned by Better Medicare Alliance. The report finds continued cost savings for all individuals enrolled in Medicare Advantage health care coverage, and we’re proud to contribute to those savings due in part to in-home, whole person care assessments which enable better care coordination and can lead to earlier detection of health problems.
Medicare Advantage is the best value for seniors, and the gap with Fee-For-Service Medicare is growing: A new, independent analysis by ATI Advisory finds MA beneficiaries spend an average of $2,541 less per year on out-of-pocket costs and premiums than those enrolled in FFS Medicare. Meanwhile, seniors on Medicare Advantage can access supplemental benefits not available through FFS Medicare, resulting in better health outcomes.
