Proud to announce the closing today of a seed financing round for Edison Agrosciences. Thanks to returning investors BioGenerator Ventures and Missouri Technology Corporation as well as several newcomers to the cap table. This investment will accelerate our mission to develop sustainable, domestic sources of critical industrial materials, starting with natural rubber from sunflowers. Edison's tech and approach promise to advance numerous end markets with an eco-friendly and reliable alternative to synthetic rubber, addressing both environmental and supply chain challenges. We are also excited to welcome Tom Marsh to Edison's Board of Directors. With over 40 years of experience in the latex and rubber industry, Tom brings invaluable expertise and insight that will be instrumental as we advance our product development and go-to-market efforts. His enthusiasm for our innovative approaches and his vision for the future aligns perfectly with our goals. Together, we are poised to create a more sustainable and resilient future for the rubber industry. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in industrial biomaterials! 🌻 AgFunder Jennifer Marston David Woodburn #Sustainability #Innovation #Biomaterials #NaturalRubber
