Great news, #AWS is going to open Sovereign Cloud in Europe in 2025. In the meantime you can use #OCI EU Sovereign Cloud with two regions, one in FRA and second in MAD already up and running.

🚀 Day 9 of my #30DaysOfAWSCloudEssentials journey. Today, I continued my study about AWS Global Infrastructure and reliability. AWS keeps your business disaster-proof by not running your business in just one location. Availability zone or AZ is a single or group of data centers. Each Availability Zone is one or more discrete data centers with redundant power, networking, and connectivity. AWS Region consists of multiple isolated and physically separate Availability Zones within a geographic Region. AWS recommends that you run your services across at least two Availability zones in a region. Many of the AWS services are regionally scoped services I.e they run on the region level.  I'm excited to continue my journey of discovery and learn more about AWS essentials.
