I saw some amazingly talented former colleagues a couple of weeks ago, all of them exceptional in what they do and it reminded me of how very lucky I have been working with people who wanted to share knowledge and offer constructive suggestions for improvement.
I am genuinely grateful for the people who take the time to share and invest in people, it's not a company that does this, it's the people within the company but companies must make it their ethos.
Thank you for all the people who have helped me, from the bottom of my heart, I feel so lucky to have worked with you.
It's very interesting who actually makes you Rich or a Talent or a High Performer .
It happens because there is someone or some people who are lacking.
It's others' non Performance which makes you a great Performer.
Try to understand this. You are still performing at the same level but others have also started performing at the same level so you are no more a great performer.
If poor people become Rich then you are no more very Rich.
If others also become talented then you are no more a great Talent.
So always be grateful to these people who keep you above them. Without their shortcomings you would not have gained so much.
Therefore there is actually no great Talent or nobody is very Rich in absolute number. It's just because others don't have it for whatever reason.
Be grateful to all people who have made you a Boss or CEO or the Owner or Rich or a Talent or a great Performer etc
I am deeply grateful for all the heartfelt messages of congratulations regarding my “ 9 years” at Good Things Guy.
However, it’s ridiculosuly funny how we can sometimes find ourselves in a loop of automated responses on LinkedIn.
Example (and I am sure this is totally relatable):
Person: “Congrats on your work anniversary”
Me: “Thank you”
Person: “You’re Welcome”
Me: “Awesome”
Person: “Nice”
Me: “👍🏼”
Person: “Okay”
Me: “Okay”
Person: “Thank you”
Person: “You’re Welcome”
Me: “Awesome”
Person: “Nice”
Me: “👍🏼”
Person: “Okay”
Me: “Okay”
Person: “Thank you”
You get the point. 😂🤣
I have heard the words "I don't get why they're leaving. Working here is one of the best places to be. Why do they feel so angered about this place?" This quote right here perfectly explains that.
When someone does not feel appreciated or valued, they will only do what is required of them, and soon feel like no one cares about them. This leads into a domino effect with them leaving the company telling everyone how awful their experience was and how they have never felt appreciated or valued in any way. I have been there before, and I have seen it.
No manager or CEO or any leadership position should pick favorites. No one should be left out of the group because they are a little different or perform differently. Each member of the team/company is valuable, that's why they got hired.
Look for those who you notice don't feel the most excited to be there and help them. Be that person that gives them a reason to feel happy to come to work. Everyone should feel appreciated no matter who they are.

If only more companies wouid see it this way…
I’ve never worked so hard and cared so much than for managers who care about me as a person first
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to share how grateful I am for my team 🫶🏼
Looking back at our 2023 events season, I get emotional thinking about how much we grew together. Here are 3 lessons our associates taught me:
1. Build others up. Our associates took every opportunity to hype each other up. They made sure everyone felt included and had each other's backs. Their positivity was contagious and made the long work days more enjoyable.
2. Play to strengths. Each associate is extremely talented. As they shared their skills and knowledge, they helped us improve processes and enhance the overall participant experience.
3. Be open minded. We had a lot of associates with a lot of great ideas. They were considerate of different perspectives and adapted our processes to fit the participants' needs.
I am so grateful for each of them and all they taught me!
Nothing makes you happier than when your hard work is recognized not just in words but in action as well! That’s what makes ProcDNA stand out from any other growing organization.
I am incredibly thankful for this recognition of my contributions to ProcDNA over the past 6 months. While the list of people who have supported me is long and never-ending, I wouldn't shy away from acknowledging a few key individuals. (I swear, this won't be a long post).
Six months ago, if someone had told me superheroes exist, I would have laughed my guts out! But now, I can proudly say I work with one such superhero (or heroine, if you prefer) - Mudita. Your support and quick motivational talks have kept me striving beyond my limits.
Leading by example is often preached but rarely practiced. I am fortunate to work under two leaders who embody this principle - Harpreet and Ankush! Your vision and guidance have been the much-needed push for me to perform at my best.
You are what you eat, and you do what people around you do - Phew! I am glad to have teammates like Ravinder and Shubhangi, who love working as much as they love having fun. Their dedication and enthusiasm have inspired me to give more than 100% to my work and at fun.
Last but not least, to every person at ProcDNA with whom I’ve collaborated, directly or indirectly - You are amazing, and I am grateful for your support.
Also, it’s Friday, why aren’t our systems down yet like last week? Microsoft, you there? (Well, this is a long post).
The end of each year provides us with time to reflect on our team’s performance and contribution to a well-done year full of successes, challenges, and contribution to our organizations.
Time past fast and in some of our industries, measuring performance on a monthly or quarterly basis, my help us forget or missed those ones that have done amazing around us.
That is why it is worth performing a self-reflection to ensure all your boxes are covered on recognition:
- Did you recognizing those that have impacted your overall organization performance?
- Did you recognizing those behaviors that will support your organization mission and vision?
- Did you thank those that helped with the successes of your organization?
- Did you start meetings and conference calls recognizing successes and achievement from your team?
- Did you thank your team for their contribution on specific goals, task, or challenges?
I believe there is no limits to recognize and thank our people when they are doing an amazing job. I will fail if I put a quota on recognition when people deserved it. Each one of your employees expect acknowledgement of their hard work. Achieving goals could be a team effort, but recognition become valuable when it is done individually.
Thank you all for your support and partnership this year, and for allow me to share some of my passions with all of you!
Happy Holidays!

Need some motivation to kick start your career ? ....this inspirational post from Sophie is a good starting point!
The reality is, it's not easy to find your dream job.... and it rarely comes through luck. So, a simple question - do you have a career strategy?
It sounds simple, but it is all about being realistic about your capabilities (self awareness), being able to articulate what your ideal role "looks like" and then preparing yourself for it - as the old saying goes, "if you don't know where you are going, you will never get there".
The final part of the process is aligning yourself with an organisation who you can "connect" with - their values, behaviours and objectives resonate positively with you - this is what Sophie referred to as "culture", others call it "fit".
At ngageconsulting, we have developed a career enhancing process which takes you through everything described above...and much more. We call it the Career Accelerator Program (CAP).
Like Sophie's positive experience with Agrii, the CAP will help you clarify what your future could look like and it will challenge, stimulate and, ultimately, prepare you for your next career move .....that might be your first step into management or striving for CEO. The CAP is there for all!
So Please DM me or my colleague, Bo Bronserud, to find out more about the CAP. Alternatively, we are more than happy to simply have an informal and confidential chat and please remember....it's good to dream!
Today marks my two-year anniversary at Agrii! 🎊🥳
Agrii is an exceptional company to work for. The value placed on staff is unparalleled, and the organisational culture is the best I have ever experienced. I have grown and been challenged in a truly constructive manner, and I look forward to many more years here. Thank you to all my colleagues for making Agrii such a wonderful place to work.
Yesterday was one of those days that remind me why I love what I do.
The morning started rough, like it often does in the world of sales. But then, something amazing happened. My colleague, Ilija, recognized my efforts and nominated me for Employee of the Year!
His message, filled with appreciation, turned my day around. Not only we nailed a great demo, but I also scheduled three meetings with Fortune 500 companies!
This experience made me think on two things:
Believe in Yourself: Even on tough mornings, remember why you started. Your determination and hard work are your most valuable assets.
The Power of Team Belief: It’s one thing to believe in yourself, but having a team that believes in you is a game-changer. It boosts your morale and pushes you to achieve more than you thought possible.
Ilija, thank you for your support – it means a lot!
